Autumn Programmes
How is your life and work? Or more importantly, how is your thinking about your life and work?
If you’ve gained huge value from the Quality of Mind programme in the past, but find yourself having forgotten how to ‘apply’ it, why not come for a refresh…
Participants sharing from Quality of Mind programme June 2023
Our June Quality of Mind foundation programme was full of magic. The first we've held at our beautiful new venue, Meon Springs.
Wondering is you might like to join us on the next programme? Listen to some of feedback our attendees gave…
What type of influence is relevant in today's world?
In the old world, we influence others to get what we want. This is manipulative. We also often use our power to influence people. Power comes from the resources you have, or the authority of your role.
Living with presence and flow
I have a client who recently walked The Three Peaks in 24 hours. I spoke to him before the event and his mind was racing in many directions.
And yet this physical challenge is not really a physical challenge. It’s a mental challenge. It’s entirely an inner game. We either learn to not be captured by the mind and the challenge is easy, or we get consumed by the ‘boss’ and the challenge is extremely hard.
An interview on Conscious Leadership - Kelly Campbell & Martin Palethorpe
On this episode of THRIVE — a video podcast for creative and tech leaders interested in the intersection of conscious leadership and agency growth, Kelly Campbell and Martin Palethorpe discuss how agency leaders can go deeper on their journey toward more conscious leadership.
Slack can be a ‘slack’ form of communication
Choosing the right mechanism for communication is crucial in today's fast-paced world. So, how can you decide which communication method is suitable for a given situation?
‘Simple but hard’ - the profoundness of listening
The profound importance of listening cannot be overstated. It may seem like a simple topic, but the reality is that quality listening is a rare skill in today's fast-paced and distracted world. To truly listen, you must be fully present, free from the distractions of the voice in your head.
Are you living life sustainably?
In a world that constantly demands our attention and energy, it is easy to get caught up in a whirlwind of activities without pausing to consider the consequences of our choices. But have you ever stopped to ask yourself if you are truly living life sustainably?
Do you feel safe in your team?
Take a moment to reflect on your own team: How safe do you feel expressing yourself? Do you feel comfortable sharing your thoughts, even if they differ from the majority?
Choose three words - who are you going to be today?
Consciously choosing the words that define who you want to be holds immense value. Sometimes, you may find yourself not fully embodying the qualities you desire, only realising it in retrospect.
That's why, before such crucial moments, it's beneficial to deliberately decide who you aspire to be.
In conversation with an ‘enlightened farmer’
We are excited to talk with Jamie Butler, the farmer of our new programme venue, MeonSprings.
The power dynamic in your relationships
I’m on a course at the moment, with Authentic Relating. We’ve been learning about exploring power, so I want to share some information and reflections…
Four ingredients for success in anything
I’m currently working with a CEO of a start up. She's a first-time CEO and founder of a technology business. I observe many aspects of her style that need to evolve and improve. And yet, I also notice some key ingredients that impress me.
It feels like she has the four key ingredients to enable anyone to be successful at any thing…
What is high-performance that is healthy & sustainable?
I am working with a couple of interesting organisations at the moment. Two organisations striving.
One is a very exciting high growth technology start-up, with massive potential to become very large very quickly. The other organisation is a B-Corp, and an environmental product business.
These situations are prompting me to ask many questions about High Performance and Maximising results…
Taking a stand for what you believe in
I’m starting to ask myself… how can I carry on in my cosy little life, when there are so many bigger problems around me. I find myself now being called to take stands, stands for what I am passionate about in this life, and in this world, a stand that is about being of service and making a different way beyond myself.
Coaching a team of activists
I am currently the team coach for a regional group of activists. They are passionate about holding the government to account to make legislation changes in support of our climate and ecology.
It has been some of my most rewarding work ever.

When and why to consider having a coach
What’s going on in your life and your work right now? How are you doing? There are times in life where you benefit from some support or some development.
Here's the primary three reasons why you might get a coach:
Embracing Uncertainty
The ego wants to feel safe. It is trying to protect you. And in order to protect you, it likes things to be known and unchanging. Or at least if they are changing, it likes the change to be predictable, not sudden or surprising.
You may find that you’ve got three strategies…
Turbulence ahead
This is a very turbulent time in the history of planet earth. A recent pandemic, war, climate crisis, energy prices, inflation, artificial intelligence, a collapsing bank system, strikes and protest…
There is so much change on a macro scale. There is so much uncertainty.
